Hi guys, one or two announcements need to be made. Firstly, the nation's future appears to be plunged into uncertainty in the form of a hung parliament, due to no single party achieving a majority. The conservatives have succeeded in becoming the biggest party and have enjoyed a very considerable swing in votes in their favour, yet Labour might succeed in scraping a coalition together to prevent the Conservatives from attaining power, however this now seems unlikely. Either way, it's scary times folks!
Secondly and on a much lighter note, our very own Captain Alexander is going on holiday next week, there's no doubt that he deserves a break from the tough and challenging work he endures here at Captain Surprise every day and I hope he has a very cool holiday.
Thirdly, I'd like to thank you guys for commenting on my blogs so much! I now have more comments than any of the other Captains! I would like to think that's because I write quality blogs, but somehow I don't think that's case :( Anyway, in answer to some of your comments, no Lynn from Canada, I didn't buy the old man hat, me and the other captains found it and it's now a official captain surprise prop. It's also cool to get some feedback from Cure fans, I do love the band too. I've run out of ideas now, thanks again for the comments, don't hesitate in offering ideas for me to write about.
